At a time when it seems like everyone is overwhelmed, and the world seems to be falling apart, how do you make sense of the events of your life? How do you engage with those around you without losing yourself? How can you move effectively through the world when there seems to be no clear next step?
Luckily for us, these questions have been asked by individuals as far back as history goes, and Tai Chi and Yoga are two systems that were developed to answer these exact questions and give us a way forward when the world around us is less than hospitable.
Join Tony Chavez and Abi Robins for a four hour workshop where we’ll uncover the tools of Yoga and Tai Chi to steady ourselves in challenging times. We’ll explore yogic breath techniques to balance and restore our energy, and Tai Chi movements that give us a taste of moving through the world with more balance and integrity.
You will have the opportunity to do individual, paired, and group movement practices, and walk away with a set of movement breathwork techniques you can apply in your daily life to help you cultivate steadiness in even the most chaotic storms of your life.
